Sarah Cain: Infinite Money

Sarah Cain: Infinite Money

April 15, 2021 – April 15, 2022

Infinite Money is from artist Sarah Cain’s Talisman series and serves as a shared wishing well. Viewers are encouraged to participate in this work by making a wish while standing under the dollar bills painted with vibrant geometric forms hanging here. As the title suggests, the work symbolizes objects ascribed with magical powers that attract wealth. By imbuing these one-dollar bills with personal significance and artistic value, Cain transcends their modest function as currency. This distinct hanging version of Cain’s Talisman series includes eight objects because the number eight signifies “eternal abundance.”
