OC Collects

To mark its 50th anniversary, OCMA presents a selection of works curated from the some of the most important private collections in our community. Since the museum’s founding in 1962, collectors in Orange County have been among the most adventurous champions of modern and contemporary art, and a significant portion of OCMA’s collection is a direct result of their willingness to support new artistic practices.
OC Collects includes major paintings, sculptures, photographs, and videos from over twenty collectors who represent a new generation of contemporary art collectors in Orange County.
This exhibition was organized by the Orange County Museum of Art and curated by Dan Cameron and Dennis Szakacs.
