Art Since the 1960s: California Experiments

July 15, 2007 – September 4, 2008

Art Since the 1960s: California Experiments is part of OCMA’s ongoing series Collection Histories/Collective Memories, which explores the intersection of major movements in West Coast contemporary art and significant moments in the museum’s history. Featuring important examples of pop art, assemblage, conceptual art, and neo-conceptual practices from OCMA’s collection, the exhibition showcases the work of once-emerging artists who are still prominent today.

This exhibition was organized by the Orange County Museum of Art and curated by Karen Moss.
