Installation Series: Jason Dodge
June 4, 2005 – September 25, 2005
The Orange County Museum of Art’s Installation Series engages some of the most dynamic and promising artists working locally, nationally, and internationally to create new work. In this iteration of the Installation Series, Jason Dodge evokes life along the western coast of Greenland through a character named Wickerfinn Lutz who seeks to uncover the history of a diamond. Displaying an acute sense of modern design and a flair for storytelling, Dodge creates elaborate tableaux that introduces the viewer to a remote corner of the world.
This exhibition is a companion to a recent installation at the Villa Arson in Nice, France.
This exhibition was organized by the Orange County Museum of Art and curated by Irene Hofmann.
