Rose River Memorial | by Marcos Lutyens in collaboration with community volunteers

Internationally recognized artist Marcos Lutyens created the OC Rose River Memorial to commemorate those who have passed away from COVID-19 in Orange County. Local residents created 4,000 hand-made roses, each representing a lost life. The memorial, which is installed outside OCMA’s entrance, visualizes our collective loss and seeks to generate community healing.

On view Monday, March 1 – Sunday, March 7.
The Rose River Memorial is installed outside the museum entrance; guests may visit it anytime while it remains on view.
