Enjoy summer outdoor screenings with food, specialty cocktails, and more! Presented in partnership with The Frida Cinema, the films are inspired by themes in the Alice Neel: Feel Like Home exhibition that examine friends, family, and the journey of finding where we belong. Come early for pop-up gallery talks, the ultimate movie-themed art activities or relax among the lush greenery on the museum’s Upper Plaza (on Level 2). This is the perfect chance to spend time with the people you love for a unique cinema experience!

Guests are welcome to arrive starting at 5:00 PM with activities until 8:00 PM. Guests may bring blankets and chairs. Limited seating is available. OCMA’s café Verdant is open for dinner until 8:00 PM and specialty cocktails and concessions are available for purchase throughout the film. Outside food and drinks are not permitted at the museum.

The Frida Cinema is a non-profit community arthouse theater in downtown Santa Ana, California, dedicated to enriching, connecting, and educating communities through the art of cinema. The theater showcases arthouse fare with a focus on avant-garde, documentary, LGBTQ+, horror, and animated films in two 215-seat auditoriums.
