MAKE: Dynamic Prints

In Jon Serl’s theatrical paintings of living beings, he often used bold shapes and expressive lines to compress, stretch, and bend his subjects, transforming them into dynamic figures full of movement. In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore simple printmaking techniques inspired by the shapes, patterns, and expressive lines in Serl’s paintings. 

This free, drop-in program is open to all ages. Families must sit together for the duration of the program as the projects may involve components that require adult supervision.
