Exercise your creativity and learn through making with daily art workshops at the museum! Inspired by Cynthia Daignault: Light Atlas, a monumental project composed of 360 oil paintings the artist created after driving the entire perimeter of the continental United States, participants will use watercolor and drawing materials to create portraits of meaningful places in Orange County.

We invite participants to return each day, Wednesday through Sunday, to paint a new portrait! Display your work in the museum, mail it to a friend, or build your own collection celebrating the people and places that make your community special.

This free, drop-in program is open to all ages and hosted on Level 2. Families must sit together for the duration of the program as the projects may involve components that require adult supervision.

MAKE: A Portrait of Orange County will close at 3 PM on Thursday January 29 in preparation for our new exhibitions.
