Known for her colorful sand-and-paint creations that employ systematic mark-making, Jennifer Guidi’s practice investigates and generates meditative states of being—spaces in which spiritual, natural, and ethereal boundaries cease to exist.  Jennifer Guidi: And so it is., is the artist’s first US museum solo show and spans a decade of her practice, including several new paintings and a mesmerizing rainbow-hued outdoor sculpture, Kundalini Rising (2023), the largest sculpture the artist has ever created to date.

Join Jennifer Guidi in conversation with exhibition curator and OCMA CEO and Director Heidi Zuckerman as they discuss exploring the spiritual and metaphysical world, the importance of place, and Guidi’s rich history growing up in Orange County.
